Combining Greek dining tradition with a chic, contemporary interior design, The Real Greek St Martin's Lane always boasts a bustling, inviting ambience. Serving tastes from across the eastern Mediterranean, the restaurant sits right between the hubs of Leicester Square and Covent Garden, making it a perfect refuelling spot for days out in these areas.

The Real Greek menu showcases traditional Greek cuisine, rich in flavour and perfect for sharing. There is a great selection of hot and cold meze, as well as wholesome grill items including dukkah chicken wings, tender pork belly, grilled octopus and lamb meatballs. Souvlaki wraps come made with soft flatbread, homemade tzatziki, sweet paprika, and fillings ranging from Loukaniko sausage, through to falafel with tahini.

Tempting sweet treats on the Real Greek Covent Garden menu feature more Greek traditions, such as lemon cake with honey-infused syrup, to baklava and Greek sundaes. There are wines and beers from Greece, as well as the famous ouzo spirit to finish.

Offering a great selection of Greek delicacies, and full of Mediterranean welcome, The Real Greek London is 2 minutes' walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

A very good spot for a pre-theatre supper. Only one minor comlaint. We had reserved a table for 4 and were shown to that table, which was 2 tables for 2 , pushed together. We'd been seated over half an hour ( but not yet got our food) when we were invited to move to a different table ( a table for 4, not 2x2), in a corner. This was apparently so they could then offer 2 couples 2 tables ie to suit their convenience not ours. We had settled in and didn't want to move. It was okay, but we felt we should not have been asked- it as not appropriate.

Loved the souvlaki, the beans. Ate at real Greek 2 nites our of the 5 I was in London. It’s very comfortable as a single. The maitre d on st Martin’s was super friendly. But the musicians at backside were way too loud. We couldn’t even talk.

Food is delicious and reasonably priced for West End. Great to have a detailed allergen menu too.

The meal was just as we had hoped with excellent service and a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It was really good to see that the staff all seemed to be enjoying themselves which added to the experience. We wanted a light lunch and the menu enabled us to choose a few dishes to deliver against our wishes. The smallest of criticism is the grilled prawns needed a little more seasoning, especially garlic. However the taramasalta and the lamb cultets were realy excellent.

Perfect location as it is opposite the theatre we were visiting. Food came quickly enough for us to eat our meal without rushing.

Quick, friendly and delicious. A few wrinkles with the service this time - room temperature white wine and being assertively told that we had not ordered a dish which we had ordered. But overall we really like The Real Greek

NOT a good Greek restaurant. Not real phylo in the tiropitakia, portions small and overpriced. Avoid.
