Friendly staff and excellent food. It was thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. The experience was slightly ruined by a loud party to the side of us. Nothing The Real Greek could do but nontheless we were sad to leave but had to for the sake of our ears.

Crafting nutritious Grecian cuisine, The Real Greek Marylebone presents a subdued, intimate eatery with a shabby-chic edge. In the dining room, cosmopolitan design is blended with rustic charm.

Showcasing robust flavours, The Real Greek menu presents an array of wholesome specialities. Ideal for sharing, tasty hot and cold mezes sit alongside souvlaki wraps, served straight from the grill. Favourites from the wide selection include juicy tiger prawns in a rich tomato sauce, with spinach, pickled peppers and sprinkled with feta, or handmade British lamb patties with Greek yoghurt.

Extending tradition through to the dessert menu, The Real Greek Marylebone offers a tantalisingly sweet selection, from Greek filo custard pie, to luxurious homemade baklava. Family-friendly The Real Greek offers a fun meze and skewer selection for everyone.

I had wanted to try the Real Greek for a while but sadly I was disappointed by this experience. The service was too fast, with the second course of our meze being brought out too quickly...we hadn't finished the first course and this made the whole thing rushed. Also, the food quality was poor. The halloumi kebab was just a huge chunk of dry and rubbery halloumi and was really awful ll I won't go to any more restaurants in this chain.

Very small with the tables packed close together, I was put off at first, but it turned out to be great fun. Small plates meant for sharing, but not essential. A long and varied list of very tasty hot and cold Meze; a less extensive list of Mains, but plenty to cover everyone’s taste and it meant that everything was freshly prepared. Our favourite was the Barbecued Chicken Wings served with the most delicious lemon mayonnaise. The Custard Tart shared between two of us with some ice cream was a nice finish to a good meal: not haute cuisine, but excellent of it’s type and absolutely true to what the restaurant sets out to be - and the value is incredible. The service was brilliant and very helpful. Great for a casual and fun night out.

The food was excellent! The Halloumi fries are to die for. Great atmosphere. Maybe a little loud for quiet conversations but great for a dinner with friends.

Very slow service, restaurant too noisy and really uncomfortable chairs. (after 2 days still have pain on my back and a bruise in correspondence of my spinal column.)
