I didn't enjoy the food at all and the margaritas we had tasted like watered down lime juice. Service was poor and the decor was shabby. I can't understand why it's so highly rated. Perhaps it used to be good when it was The Forbury.

Fantastic food as always! Pulled pork burger was awesome! The chancellors 50% off was also a bonus! Staff were brilliant and even with the safety measure it felt very ‘normal” and relaxed. Sat out in the secret garden.... lovely lunch time! Parking on site too was very easy. Good work team!

Food was absolutelly delicious (subtle flavours and perflectly cooked). Staff were very friendly and attentive and we had a really special evening. The restaurant has been redecorated and re-branded (previously Cerise). We felt totally safe (in the Covid world) as staff wore PPE and gloves and menus were all disposable, and tables were well spaced apart from other diners. We will definitely return.

nice place, we booked a table after having looked at an online menu but when we sat down in the restaurant the menu was different. When we asked for the "all day" menu we were told that we would have to move into the bar area as the meals on that one were not available in the restaurant? As I was looking forward to the steak and so were my son and his fiance (their engagement was the reason we were there!) we decided to move to the bar area. This was actually far better as we had a little alcove all to ourselves. The food arrived and was really good so made up for the little inconvenience to start with.

Didn't like the room, rather small and felt squashed in. View from window was horrible, decor was OK if a little old fashioned. Music wasn't to my taste and it all felt very stiff and formal, people were whispering. Food was nice though. Would only recommend for the food and not the room
