As always, the food was delicious. We visit the Raven regularly and have always been delighted with the menu, and quality and variety of ingredients which go into the dishes. The staff are attentive which always makes the evening an event! I can not recommend it enough!

The Raven Inn menu offers up a versatile choice of recipes, with pub classics sitting alongside local flavours, as well as options from across the globe. Eclectic bar nibbles include gin and tonic chipolatas with lemon blossom honey, moving on to rustic sharers like baked brie with garlic and rosemary, red onion jam and dipping bread. Beer battered haddock and chips and rump of lamb with black pudding wellington are great examples of crowd-pleasing pub favourites, while on Sundays there are succulent roasts with all the trimmings.

Traditional cask ales are on tap at The Raven Inn in Warrington, with a carefully crafted wine list also on offer. To finish, there is signature coffee served with handmade chocolate truffles, or the dessert of the day.

I am sorry to say, that after eating at the Raven for over 20 years, our meal on Sunday was hugely dissapointing. On arrival at 1.00 on Sunday there was only 1 other table occupied, ,it was very quiet for Sunday, My friend ordered the Sunday Roast, she said the only good thing on her plate was the roasted potatoes, her beef was dry , cold and overcooked, she later fed it to my dog. I ordered the Fillet steak Wellington, the beef was well done, the pastry soggy , the chips undercooked and both our veg were hard , more undercooked than al-dente. .
When asked we told the waitress, who said she would tell the kitchen , but no one spoke to us, so we paid well over £35 for 2 soft drinks and 2 main courses, we both said, "we won't be returning " very sad as it used to be a great place to eat, never cheap, but we'll worth the money, not now.....

Nice lunch here. The only downside is only open until 2pm for lunch so you do feel a little rushed to leave.

The Raven is nicely furnished and comfortable. There is always a good choice on the menu. We had the hot pot and beef pie this time. Both were very tasty and well presented. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

A very nice cosy environment. The meal for me was disappointing. Baked beef pie with Stilton,, but beef was ground very finely and could hardly be tasted under the layer ofStilton. I was expecting larger pieces of beef.
