Trading since 1740, The Quorndon Fox in Quorn is a grand, attractive country pub with a fantastic location in the picturesque village. It boasts an accomplished menu of British favourites with beautiful gardens and seating. Interiorly, ornate mirrors, a welcoming hearth and log-piles define The Quorndon Fox’s rustic character.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Quorndon Fox menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Quorndon Fox ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

Deep in Leicestershire, The Quordon Fox is quiet and peaceful in the small village of Quorn.

Very impressive well kept old building on the outside. On entering not sure where to go so asked barman. Not very vlear instructions. Showed to table next to entrance. The seat was very badly ripped and other seats full of stains or worn out. Which waa a shame as the overall decor is very nice. Asked for a table near the toilets as my mum 91 and needs to be near the toilet. Say no more. Well we could not have bin further from the toilet as it was totally at the orher end of the building. Lady helpfull when my mum askef fir small portion. Let her order as child's roast dinner. My partner and i had the sea bass. It was a lovely meal. Although it lacked enough veg. Was served with samphire but very little. Asked to see dessert menu. After sometime waitress adked what we would like. I said we would like to see the menu. She forgot to bring them. Overall ffood was lovely. Pity their attention to detail let the standard slip

Excellent location and nice interior. Cosy, warm and unpretentious but tasteful and inviting with lots of space, well divided up with nice nooks and cranies so that it did not feel like a large restaurant. The meal was very good. The starters were nicely different to the usual boring fare and we had the sticky chicken wings which were good, tasty and not too over filling. Also had the prawn and lobster starter, which was fine though it could have had a bit more prawn and lobster and a bit less of the salad leaves. The main courses were also good, particularly the pork belly with basil mashed potato and broccolli. Excellent, tasty, beautifully cooked meat. Lovely veg and the basil mash was really good. Hunters chicken was tender and not dry. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful without being either too slow or hovering over you to whip the plates away...a pet hate that! Overall, a most enjoyable experience.

The meal in itself 's was great, the only thing that spoiled it a bit was a mistake with the bill, we had someone else's drinks added to our bill but it was quickly sorted.
