Sleek and contemporary, The Quicken Tree at Heart of England Conference Centre offers hearty British cuisine. With light lunches, indulgent Sunday dinners and an impressive choice for children, The Quicken Tree menu changes with the seasons using fresh, local produce.

Leading the delicious menu is a game and pale ale pie with rich gravy & mash, and other highlights include slow-braised blade of beef with parsnip & vanilla purée, creamy cabbage & bacon served with Dauphinoise potato, and oven-roasted seabass with bok choi, shiitake mushrooms & hoi sin noodles. Indulge in a decadent treat off the dessert menu, such as the tempting Bailey’s cheesecake with an Oreo biscuit base & roasted almond peaches.

Situated on a private estate, The Quicken Tree Fillongley enjoys a good reputation as a relaxed, family-friendly restaurant with stunning views of sprawling Warwickshire countryside. In summer, the spacious outdoor terrace is the perfect spot to soak up the sun and enjoy an al fresco meal.

Just off the M6, The Quicken Tree in Coventry is a 12-minute drive from Birmingham International Rail Station.

Service was excellent. Thank you for making the table special for the 80th birthday girl.... food was good but the last time we visited the food was amazing and different from other afternoon teas with the addition of a tiny soup and a home made hot sausage roll.... the cakes were a little plain in comparison to our last visit... the presentation was superb and the way you looked after us was exceptional service.... thank you so much.

We hadn't been to the restaurant for a while so the new decor was a lovely surprise. Fresh, clean with a modern twist. The food as always was fantastic.... Steak was tender and both dishes beautifully presented. We will be returning with family soon. The new outside area with heat lamps and seating looks lovely too.

We booked a table for our wedding anniversary here last night, as we thought it would be nice to go back to the place where we had our wedding reception.
First off, the maître d' was lovely, very helpful and polite. However the waitress was very loud, and shouted as she walked to the table; “what drinks can I get you?” Rather than asking when she arrived at our table. Was also very loud, when talking to other customers.
The let down about the whole evening was the main meals and the deserts.
We had Camembert and bread for starter to share; this was very nice.
However; my husband had the 10oz New York Strip. It was chewy and full of gristle. He had to spit most of it out.
I had the Mixed Grill, the steak hadn’t been tenderised and was not medium rare; it was pink and no blood from the steak, it was also very chewy. The egg was undercooked, and the pork chop and gammon tasted burnt from the grill rather than flame grilled. Black pudding was also cremated.
Deserts; my husband explained that he wasn’t happy with his steak to the maître d' and she offered him a free desert.
He chose the toffee Churros which was very nice, I opted for the Black Forest Cheesecake; to which I found a short black hair in it. The maître d' apologised and gave me a fresh desert. The cheesecake - wasn’t cheesecake, it was a biscuit base in a jar with thick whipped cream and cherries with sauce. No tase of cheesecake at all - but if a con for £5!

All in all, it was a pretty bad evening. We were very disappointed because the last time we attended the Quicken Tree, we had a fantastic experience, great food and even a bottle of wine on the house to celebrate our anniversary.

Such a shame the chef and waitress let the maître d' down.

    Won’t be attending again.

We had a good lunchtime meal but we did have a problem in that the table we had was opposite the new area and we found that we had a constant draft resulting in us being a little cold thru out the meal

We love dining here. Beautiful surroundings and lots to keep the children entertained yet it's still nice and quiet.

Sunday lunch was good and very good value. Just a shame staff are so overstretched which made the service quite slow. Just 3 staff covering the bar, inside and outside for drinks and meals is not enough.

Excellent service and food. Portion sizes are on the generous side and actually beat us but that is not a complaint.

Great, relaxed atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff (without that annoying "everything OK?" question just as you've taken a mouthful of food)! Clean and bright restaurant with good spacing between the tables. Food was generous in portion size and "home-made" tasty!

We attended a wedding the week before and were very impressed with the venue, we had a look round and enquired about Xmas Dinner. We decided we would try before we booked. We were not disappointed, the Sunday Lunch was lovely. The restaurant has a lovely outlook over the fields and lake. We will definitely be booking our Xmas Dinner here when the menu is finalised.
