The Queen's Head is an upmarket family-owned gastro-pub with a reputation for a precise, creative menu of modern European cuisine, set in the peaceful Leicestershire village of Belton. Behind the whitewashed brick exterior, the chic, contemporary restaurant serves up fresh, locally sourced produce in dishes like roast squab pigeon with potato and foie gras terrine. A bistro offers convivial informal dining, while the garden and bar area lend themselves to Sunday afternoon relaxation.

Customer reviews for The Queen's Head, Loughborough
(((** 16 April 2011 by Jayler from Coventry
Dined about 8.oo pm. Seated at our table very quickly, but had to wait too long for a waitress to take our order. Ditto for pudding. Mousse ordered was still frozen and, therefore, unpleasant and tasteless. Goat's cheese was pleasant but fairly bland. Other food was tasty, well cooked but very few vegetables offered.
