Service was great and they had re done the garden since we were last there and it's perfect for sitting out side over a good pint with a small play area for kids. The beer was good but the food was shockingly bad. The roast was a small clearly prepared earlier tough bit of beer fill of gristle both portions and the vegetables looked and tasted like last weeks leftovers. Such a disappointment as the food used to be good but I think there has been a change in brewery since we last went and langue the pub has had a fabulous makeover the roast was so terrible we are unlikely to eat there again.

We had an excellent afternoon with lovely food and marvellous service. One slight comment - I know we did ask for a cheeseboard which was not on the menu - it was pathetic and they should have said no rather than try! At £9, it was then exorbitant and sadly that was then reflected in the tip to the staff, who had looked after us so well. Always thought the cheeseboards in the past were wonderful and it maybe an idea to include in the future. Anyway still had lovely time.

Met an old friend for a long overdue catch up over lunch. We had such a lovely few hours at The Queens Head. Delicious food, sensitive waiting and lovely staff

It was an amazing experience. It is one of the most beautiful pubs i have ever visited actually. The environment was very warm and cozy. I will definitely visit again as it is very close to home as well.

I live opposite The Queens Head and have used it for years.
However, I must say that the recent renovations and food improvement is excellent. Good value for money young buzzy crowd.

Lovely pub with good atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is good but found the portions were quite small.
