Serving classic British cuisine, the Queen Elizabeth is a quintessential village pub in a Grade II-listed building built in the 16th-century. The food is hearty and traditional, focusing on locally sourced ingredients.
Home-cooked classic on the menu include crispy cod in local ale batter, trio of local sausages with creamy mash and onion gravy, and cider and honey-glazed gammon ham. Meat, seafood and vegetarian deli boards are enticing options, as are the meaty burgers served with melted cheese and a choice of sauces. Homemade desserts include Bailey’s cheesecake and toffee, date and walnut pudding.
Inside, open fires and rustic décor create a cosy bar area, whilst the large beer garden is a tranquil summer spot. The Queen Elizabeth in Elmsley Castle also boasts separate dining rooms and lounge areas for elegant dining and relaxed drinking.
A village pub serving a host of real ales, The Queen Elizabeth near Evesham is a 15-minute drive from Evesham Train Station.

The food was lovely, prices were reasonable for the standard of food offered. Service was a little lacking in places, but the food made up for that

Wonderful village pub with excellent food and drink. We booked a table for 4 and was shown through to the lovely restaurant area to be seated. Staff members Mandy and Molly were fantastic and the food matched it. Our friends had Dressed Crab and Gammon, and I followed the Gammon also, with my wife having Sea Bass. All staff served with a smile and so friendly with the total bill including two desserts and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc coming to less than £100 for the lot of us. We dine out regularly but find the Queen Elizabeth Elmley castle to be truly the best value in Worcestershire!! Cant fault the place at all. Keep it up everyone, superb stuff.

Had a lovely Father’s Day special lunch at the queen Elizabeth with my very special partner. I had the lamb main course which was delicious and Alan had beef which he thoroughly enjoyed. We both had starters and Alan managed to finish with a chocolate fondant which he thought was wonderful. It was busy as it was Father’s Day but we were served with a smile!
