Tucked away in the heart of Mayfair, The Punchbowl has been an institution since 1729. Offering a relaxed place to dine and drinks, The Punchbowl Mayfair celebrates the area's history and future.

One of Mayfair's oldest pubs, The Punchbowl offers pub classics including British burgers and battered fish with triple-cooked chips. Sharing platters are also available, along with a Sunday lunch menu including traditional roasts and family favourites. Bar snacks are on offer for those not looking for a full meal.

The Punchbowl in Mayfair regularly changes its menus, offering the freshest seasonal produce. Real local ales and single malt scotch can be found on its extensive menu. Alongside the pub, The Punchbowl is also home to the Dining Room; a more sophisticated restaurant with art deco-inspired décor.

The Punchbowl in London is a Grade II listed tavern, which can be found in the heart of Mayfair. It is only a 9-minute walk from Bond Street Tube Station.

A lovely traditional English pub in a quite oasis in Mafair. What better location to take two US visitors to. The ambience, welcome, friendliness, food drink and service were perfect

A wonderful old Mayfair pub, beautifully furnished. The food was great, there was a lovely long wine list and a great pub!

I am a frequent customer of Punchbowl. I really like the atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and excellent wine choice. However, my lunch on 1st August was a shambles. My party had to wait for one hour between starter and main (my principle guest had to leave before his main, which was a cedar salad, and he did not have a starter). When my main eventually arrived I had to send it back as it was cold.
The manager was very apologetic and said it was because they had two trainee chefs on for lunch. Who did the duty roster and had no experienced chef on duty? The lunch, which I had been looking forward to, was a huge disappointment and I hope it’s not the first signs of a decline in this otherwise great venue. There is a lot of competition in the area for custom.

Attentive and friendly service, good selection om menu, though Sea Bass off the menu ??? Substituted by Sea Bream, not the same.

Haddock n chips very nice, drinks can be expensive, but were in Mayfair.

    Amazing old pub ...

Now please explain this You charge 12.5 % service !!....But why is it NOT printed on the menu nor the drinks list???.

Dinning downstairs is preferential for us.

The Punchbowl Mayfair has become my local. The food is very good. The starters are especially good, and the fish and chips, perhaps the best I've ever tasted. Yesterday I had the salmon salad to start and then the ribeye, and I enjoyed both thoroughly. I believe I've tried everything on the menu at this point, and I have only been disappointed in the Sunday roast chicken (should be a smaller, younger bird) and the Sunday roast lamb (too well done).
I really appreciate the wine list, which has very good choices at affordable prices. Having that delicious old port on the menu offers a lovely end to a Sunday lunch.
The service is excellent. The whole team is just wonderful.
The dining area is separate from the bar, so that when eating you are never overwhelmed by drinkers, which is a real plus.
I feel very lucky to be a neighbor of the Punchbowl Mayfair!
