Visiting friends from America joined us for lunch, service was very good. The food was excellent especially the beetroot and goats cheese starter and the fruit tart a wonderful end to the meal thouroughly enjoyed by all of us. Thank you.

Fabulous afternoon tea in opulent surroundings. A real bit of luxury! Delicious food and plenty of it. Certainly was not cheap, but it was worth the money. A nice touch was the offer to let us take home the uneaten cakes in a little box. That was good because a) we'd paid for good money for it and appreciated the chance to finish off the rest when we were less full! and b) they would presumably have thrown them out otherwise, which would have been a waste. Also really appreciated the trio playing music in the background - they were great.

My sister and I visited Bath earlier this month and booked High tea at the The Pump Room. It was a wonderful experience, the food was delicious, the service impeccable and the setting exquisite.

Lovely place for afternoon tea. We went to celebrate a 50th birthday and it was fantastic. Great service, great food, boxes to take away what you couldn't eat. We all took something home! They got the pianist to play happy birthday for our friend and bought out a lovely cupcake with a candle and happy birthday written in icing. It was another friends birthday 3 days later and they did the same for her also. The room in which you eat is beautiful which makes the experience feel extra special. Great value for money and will definitely find an excuse to return!

The environment was good, service good, food was also good. We seemed to have arrived towards the end of the music and the orchestra kept disappearing, and then packed their bags and went home. Would have liked to hear a bit more than we did.

Lovely environment in which to enjoy the great dishes available for lunch. And the musicians really enhanced the experience. The staff were friendly and readily responded to the request for a gluten free dish.

And beautiful setting and a beautiful place to have a fabulous afternoon tea. My only comments were that the team ignored us for quite a while upon arrival and seemed very stressed. Once we were seated, our order was taken swiftly and the food arrived speedily. The afternoon tea was fresh and amazing. I would recommend this place if you are a little patient at the beginning.
