Excellent. Service was perfect. The food, scones, the rubarb kompott, the tastful tea, the pastries was so delicious and beautyful.
We will defenitly come again.
Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Synonymous with luxury and grandeur, The Dorchester hotel on Park Lane presents elegant British brasserie cuisine at The Promenade. The dining room features lavish interior design from Thierry Despont, and an oval leather-clad bar.

A polished, tranquil retreat in which to enjoy the hotel’s legendary afternoon teas, The Promenade in London showcases 25 different tea blends, alongside its impeccable range of sweet and savoury treats. As well as cakes from the in-house bakery, enjoy the signature Dorchester scones- made to a recipe unchanged for 50 years.

An all-day menu at The Promenade is filled with refined Dorchester classics, as well as extravagantly-topped pizzas, and delicious meats from the grill. For an indulgent start to the day, The Promenade in Mayfair also offers an exciting international range for breakfast.

Set on one of London’s most famous streets, The Promenade on Park Lane is just 6 minutes’ walk from Hyde Park Corner Tube Station. Please note, all guests are respectfully asked to observe The Dorchester’s ‘smart casual’ dress code, by refraining from wearing baseball or beanie caps, ripped jeans, sportswear (including flip-flops) and shorts while visiting the restaurants and bars.

Before travelling, I booked a celebratory champagne afternoon tea for my wife, because The Dorchester has an excellent and long standing reputation as one of Londons top hotels and The Dorchester met both its reputation and our expectations. Great staff, very appropriate atmosphere, excellent service and I ask that our appreciation be passed on to Danny, Franscesco and Luca. A completely unexpected highlight was the pianist (thank you) playing Happy Birthday to my wife with a soft
background chorus, at our table, by Franscesco & Luca, whilst Danny placed a 1 candle (very tactful) cake in front of her and my girl will never forget that. Well Done!!

...and yes, these two country mice from Victoria will certainly visit The Dorchester again. Thank You.

we went for afternoon tea on Easter Sunday.
it was fabulous, from the surroundings to the food to the friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you.
our tea and coffee was replenished numerous times and we were asked if we wanted more sandwiches, which were lovely.
The scones and cakes were amazing and we could not eat them all so we asked to take them with us. They put them in a lovely box for us to take away.
What a lovely experience it was for a special occasion. I cannot recommend it enough!

Wonderful dining experience in a beautiful setting with attentive staff. We had two young children with us and we were made to feel very welcome.

The food and the service was exceptional but I didn't like where the afternoon tea was held, it felt like you were in a corridor.

    Accommodated fussy eaters.
    No problems.

We were stunned but the floral displays - absolutely beautiful ! The Promenade is a lovely setting. The waiters were very attentive - when they were there; they seemed to disappear for great lengths of time. The choice of sandwich fillings was not great if you cannot eat cheese - three of the sandwich fillings contained cheese. The scones and cakes were lovely.

When my friend visits from every year we treat ourselves to afternoon tea in one of the well known London hotels - we have been to the Ritz, the Savoy and I have to say that although we liked the setting and ambience of the Dorchester it is not our favourite.
