Food was delicious as usual, we all had a Sunday roast. Service was less good than usual, disappointing in fact. There was a wedding party there and it seemed no particular waiter/waitress was keen to attend to us in the good way that would normally happen.

The restaurant was busy, but we took a table in the bar. It was relatively busy in the bar area. The food was delicious, although took some time to get to us. The entire visit took 3hrs. We may have to go back to booking a table in the restaurant next time.

Booked a table here as somewhere close to Loughborough Uni and wanted a venue to take my son to that wasn’t in the town centre. Overall it was a pleasant experience but the food was quite expensive for what it was and the staff were efficient but not overly friendly/welcoming. Not rude or anything, just a bit impersonal and brisk. Food was nice. We had the chicken (moist and flavoursome), gammon (bit salty), classic burger and halloumi burgers, then three desserts (nice but overpriced at £6.95 each).

There was a board outside offering one course for, two courses for and three courses for but that is only for lunchtimes, surely this should be taken in for the evening. It was very busy and there were not enough waiters/waitresses on duty. We were ignored by your manager who took an order for food in the bar, she walked away and took knives and forks to that person in the bar and left the bar unattended. We had to wait more than half an hour to order and our second round of drinks did not arrive untilwe asked where they were. Another half an hour wait to see if we would like to order a dessert

Table available when we arrived, attentive waiter welcomed us, explained the menu and took our drinks order. Gave us enough time to decide what we wanted and order. The food was excellent, a minor problem with one of our meals being wrong was efficiently rectified and the waiter took cost of the starter for the effected diner off the final bill without us having to say anything. Overall a more than satisfactory meal.

Great food. Everyone raved about the sticky cauliflower. Good attentive service.
