A refurbished gastro pub in the historical village of Eynsford, The Plough Inn serves a selection of modern British dishes. With sheepskin-covered chairs, exposed stone walls & leather armchairs, the bar & restaurant provide plenty of cosy corners to enjoy a drink or a hearty meal.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Plough Inn menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Plough Inn bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.
The Plough Inn in Kent is a 3-minute drive from Lullingstone Castle & World Garden, a 9-minute walk from Eynsford Castle, and a 10-minute walk from Eynsford Rail Station.

Bad dining experience. Not told before ordering that a number of dishes were not available. This happened on the repeat ordering as well. Chicken dish was overcooked, extremely dry and almost uneatable. Other food was of poor quality. People on the adjacent table had the same problems. The waitress was friendly and coped with the situation admirably but could not make up for a very disappointing day.

It was very nice as a lovely pub, just been refurbished too .
Negatives were bad lighting and small print menus.... not a good combination!

Good choices on menu, it's a shame you didn't have our first choice, chicken leek pie. Also no real ale which put my husband in a mood before we sat down so I don't think we will be coming back to soon. The food we had was very enjoyable and we enjoyed the comfort of your dinning room. Staff looked after us very well.

Lovely bar and restaurant set in the heart of the beautiful Enysford Village. Attentive staff, excellent varied menu and cosy atmosphere. A nice outdoor space if you are dining in good weather.
Highly recommend a visit.

Atmosphere good, staff were very good. Starters were amazing but sadly the main course meat was over cooked. Partner was not happy with his chicken. My roast was lovely but the. We’d was quite dry and over cooked.

Disappointed with the Father’s Day lunch. Food arrived cold, tiny portion and definitely not our best dining experience here
