Housed in 3 picturesque thatched cottages, Pilgrim Inn is a rustic haven in the New Forest, and proud winner of the Hampshire Dish of the Year Award. The well-manicured garden allows al fresco summer dining and during winter, the roaring log fire is perfect for a fireside drink.
With a warm, cosy interior and traditional pub dishes, The Pilgrim Inn restaurant offers exceptional food with a firm emphasis on local produce from New Forest and Hampshire. Nibbles and platter boards sit alongside Pilgrims’ classics like peri-peri marinated ham hock, and pork, mustard and ‘HSB’ sausages.
The classic Sunday roast is a popular choice, featuring tender cuts of meat, roast potatoes and gravy. Head to the Pilgrim Inn bar for a quick night cap or choose from a selection of 15 malt whiskies, fine cask ales and wines.
A proud Fullers pub full of rustic charm, The Pilgrim Inn in Southampton is the perfect spot for traditional British pub grub with true authenticity.

Staff very friendly but food very average ... would not return based on the meals we had - may have been as a result of staff sickness but not impressed

poor service 6 out of ten

We booked a table for 6.45 by wich time on a Saturday evening they had run out of a number of dishes. An incorrect drink was served and we were overcharged for a pudding. Previous visits had been great but distinctly average this time. Very annoying as I had taken my mum out for her birthday. I would recommend as the food has always been great but I would check what is available on the menu first.
