Staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable in a sofa following the meal. The food was good but could be improved by providing hot plates to collect it on.

Went here for a belated birthday do. Opted for Bottomless Prosecco brunch. Lots of lovely choice of salads and desserts but not a great choice for main. One of our party is gluten free, did advise in advance, but it did feel that the bread and desserts had to be defrosted when we asked, no gluten free Yorkshire puddings though. Chef was good at pointing out what she could/couldn’t have. All the staff were very good especially Cheri and Lori (apologies if not got those names quite right) who really looked after us well. Enjoyed the live music as well.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, best G&T Happy Hour I've had in a while and even had live music Friday. Booked in for their Sunday Brunch!

My girlfriend and I were initially seated next to a very loud party but were pleased to have been swiftly moved. We were immediately poured prosecco, but as we had intended to only have tea they offered this free of charge. We were, however, not asked if we'd like any form of tea and so went up to ask and were then offered. Both the tea and the prosecco were lovely. We had the meat option afternoon tea, which I'd had a year ago. There weren't many other customers, so we were a bit surprised that it took closer to 45 minutes for them to prepare it. The fish and chicken served in burgers were delicious, though the burger bun and ingredients rather detracted from the flavour than adding to it. The "boar" sausage rolls felt more like a textureless, rather gooey mass of half-meat baked into bread than anything else, but none of us being Brits, maybe that's how it's supposed to be? The scotch egg was a little disappointing this time, I remembered it as being a bit meatier and with a fresher taste. There were plenty of sweets and we had to stop in between them not to get inundated. They were all quite lovely though - particularly the blueberry on the "cheesecake" (more like custard on shortbread) - we'd almost wished for more berries even though the berry smoothie was nice. Jams and scones were delectable. All in all, we had a lovely time. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is very service-minded.

Warm and friendly welcome and changed time and seating so we could be with our friends. Amazing buffet starter with such a varied selection. Excellent friendly service throughout whole 2 hours of lunch

Extremely disappointed had double checked that they had a vegan offering and was told yes however my friend had a raw veg sandwich, fruit on a stick and veg crisps then they tried to charge us for a portion of chips. The service was terrible and all of this is a real shame because the meat option of the tea was delicious.
