Small car park and not easy to find a space. The rooms are oldy worldly but tastefully decorated and welcoming. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and competent. Food menu will not appeal to everyone also expensive. Menu is available online and exactly as shown. My wife started with Mackerel and orange which she found good but a lot of skin and little fish.I stated with a poached duck egg which was very good. For main course we both opted for Rib-eye steaks which were excellent.

Lovely place, super waitress but food not up to standard medium rare fillet served well done, parsnips delicious but huge portion, dauphinois potatoes tiny portion, weird!

The hotel looked great on the web site and the menu looked good. It was a special occasion that justified a special location for a meal out. Unfortunately our experience at The Piano Restaurant at The Churchill Hotel was poor. My wife ordered the Monk fish which was over cooked, we also order a Irish coffee to finish which was served with a peaty whisky (you need to inform your customers which whisky you are using), my wife could not drink this. There was a waitress not dressed for serving in a class restaurant, she was a tall slim girl she was wearing tight fitting black jeans and a white blouse that was hanging out at the back with slit sides showing her waist side flesh. Not what I would expect in this type of restaurant. In fairness the other staff where very smart and well presented. When we left we wanted to order a taxi from reception but no one was there, leaving us to walk back to the city centre. If you was wondering why I did not complain on the night it was special but sensitive occasion and complaining on the night would have spoiled the evening even more.

Fantastic restaurant, excellent food and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for special occasions. Eating this kind of food accompanied by a well played piano made our night.
