In the heart of rural Northumberland, The Percy Arms is surrounded by stunning countryside. Charmingly rustic, the menu sees British favourites joined by flavour-packed dishes from Europe and beyond, as well as lighter bites and tempting desserts. Hearty Sunday roasts are also a firm favourite.

We had the afternoon tea. It was outstanding.
Lovely sandwiches, great cake, amazing toffee sauce for pouring and the scones were fresh and still warm.

The new style is quietly country, very friendly and welcoming. We sat in the bar area and watched a steady stream of customers enjoying a relaxed Sunday lunchtime. There was a family party in the restaurant, which is slightly more formal, but equally warm and pleasant. Our guest who is a wheelchair user was able to come into the Percy Arms through the side entrance and our table allowed space for everyone to circulate easily - and the toilet facilities are excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed excellent traditional Sunday roasts, sweets and lovely coffee.

I am looking forward to my next visit.
