Our first visit and it was very enjoyable. As the weather was so nice we had dinner on the patio. Very friendly staff and the food was very tasteful.

The food was outstanding as usual, except for the Baileys cheese cake with mint chocolate. It did NOT taste of baileys at all and came with a raspberry (?) sauce instead of mint chocolate. And the service was a bit slow, but otherwise a great night, thank you.

Excellent evening and food. It was almost like we were in Newlands in Cape Town!

Had a fabulous evening with friends here last night. The food was amazing, especially my Durban prawn curry. Staff were extremely polite and lovely to chat with, helping us also with some local information as we are staying in the area. A very pleasant visit.

We were a group of 9 including the two grandchildren, and were seated within seconds of arriving. The menu is extensive and allowed everyone freedom to have exactly what they wanted, the Carvery is always good value but there are South African specialities for the adventurous. The staff were very attentive and despite the numbers all of the plates for each course were served together. After the meal the family spent some time on the garden so the children could enjoy playing in the climbing frames.

The service and staff were lovely. We shared a half rack of ribs and blue cheese burger. Both were excellent, and dood sized portions. The passion fruit cheesecake was delicious, but the poached pear was not good - the pear was a bit rotten on the inside, and wasn't properly poached.

Very warm welcome, staff were really helpful. Food was great although in hindsight the ostrich steak might have been better without the sauce which overpowered it a bit. Lovely location.
