We were disappointed that the experience was not as good as our visit last September. We were shown to our table on arrival, an order was taken for our choice of tea and this arrived soon after. However, we had to wait 30 minutes for the food part of afternoon tea to turn up at our table. It was a 4pm booking and various tables had been served earlier, there seemed to be a lack of waiting staff and we had to ask where our food was. We had the pink tea and were surprised to be served a glass of pink champagne with the food, it wasn't detailed in the menu, but it was very nice. The food served was not as good as last year, the quantity and quality was not the same. We chose this menu because it looked the most varied but on reflection it wasn't as varied as we would have liked. It was an expensive tea without the feeling of good value. Shame, as a year ago we came away with a completely different view, a wonderful experience which is why we booked again this year. Not sure if we will book another afternoon tea at Blenheim. I would like to know if the caterers have changed, not for the better.

Food was quite good, service was nice and accurate - price is OK, if you take away the 27 pounds each for entering the Blenheim!

Wonderful setting and very helpful staff. The food was very fresh and made to order. We had the afternoon tea and everything from the sandwiches to the tea were beautifully served.

Actually I’m dissatisfied because we had to waited more then 45 minutes for the waiters to bring out food. The restaurant lacked attention to dinners. As if they were very tired.

Book a celebration lunch with friends for my husband's birthday/retirement. The food was excellent, the surroundings wonderful and the staff friendly and attentive. The chef in particular made my husbands day by baking him a diabetic sweet potato and chocolate brownie birthday cake which looked and tasted amazing.

My family and I had a lovely lunch at The Orangery. The staff were friendly and polite. The character of the roomy was light, airy and pleasant. The taste of each serving was only matched by the lovely surroundings.

Very good efficient service, nice food. I had put on the booking that it was my Mums Birthday and also mentioned it on arrival, but no one mentioned it or wished her a happy birthday. Table was chipped which wasn't good to look at
