The salmon was excellent but would have liked perhaps a couple of bits of bread, perhaps pumpernickel bread, with it. Because I do not eat diary I had the beef with greens instead of mash. The meat was delicious but a little dry, the greens were great, not overcooked and tasted very fresh. I could have done with a bit more gravy to soften the slight dryness of the meat. Did not have a desert. I felt the choice for non-dairy food was less generous than in other good restaurants of similar quality. But I very much enjoyed what I had. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the staff were friendly.

We had such a great tea experience at The Orangery. The service was great, and the food and tea was even better. We had tea at several places throughout our trip to England, and we all agreed the food at The Orangery was the best!

Wonderful end to a lovely day at Blenheim. Beautiful conservatory sprinkled with orange trees, with marvelous views across the Italian garden and the south lawn. Charming staff, friendly, efficient and attentive. Our afternoon tea was a real treat, a good selection of sandwiches and cakes and the best scones we have ever tasted!
I would like to do this again..........and again............and again.

Lovely food, lovely surroundings. Unfortunately the floor under our table was very dirty. Squashed berries and masses of breadcrumbs. We complained and were moved. Would be nice to have a complimentary bread basket and perhaps a small wrapped biscuit or wrapped chocolate with the coffee.
