Very cozy and lovely atmosphere. Service was very good and our Italian waitress very helpful and pleasant.

This is a buzzy gastropub in Mayfair. Food is very good and the prices are fair considering the Mayfair location. The house bouillabaisse is tasty if a bit undersized (the toast it came with could've been crispier) but the stealth fries are crispy and the puds pretty good.

Great atmosphere, excellent food. Service was extremely poor due to 'a private event' happening during the lunch hour. The server apologized several times and was quite sympathetic. Management should consider staffing should they decide to book an event while serving during lunch or dinner hours.

Very nice for Sunday lunch - I had the 'trimmings without the meat' and just delicious.

We arrived early. Were greeted courteously and taken immediately to the upper floor restaurant. It was nicely decorated with tables set with cloth napkins shining glassware and cutlery. We had a table near the window. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. Two diners had the liver, soup and ice cream. I had the chicken pie and apple crumble. All the dishes were nicely presented, hot and very well cooked. The cost of the meal was reasonable and the drinkers enjoyed their wine.

The best feature is the food quality and cooking. The downside on a week night, is that the upstairs dining room is very small and congested particularly when all tables taken and because it is popular with large corporate business groups, it can overwhelm the room and so not very hospitable for a table for two.
