Found just down the road from Crouch Hill station, The Old Dairy is a huge gastro pub, built on the former site of the old Friern Manon dairy.
Exposed brick walls, huge steel girders and frescoes of cows and milking remain as a reminder of the building former use and also add a quirky edge. The venue is absolutely massive with various rooms, nooks and crannies and the vibe is always buzzing and chatty.
As for the menu, choose from a wide selection of Modern European fare with dishes such as roast chicken and chorizo with black pudding hash; pan fired lambs liver with mash, onion gravy and mushrooms and roasted Barbary duck breast with carrots, parsnips and blood orange sorbet. Sunday lunches are a real crowd pleaser at The Old Dairy, a magnificent addition to the ever growing London gastro pub portfolio.
