Good choices on menu. Excellent personal service- that made the evening even more pleasant

Excellent Sunday roast with interesting array of vegetables, plated and served at table (so much better than those places that make you queue up!). Very busy hence rather noisy but the staff remained very calm and efficient despite the pressure.

Dining in the restaurant is good- service , menu variety and quality are good. For a pub my verdict is “better than a run of the mill pub” - enjoyable experience always. I can’t say the same for dining in the bar area.

Loved it, the whole experience from start the finish was fabulous. From bar staff to waiter, can't fault it. I had chicken and Leek pie with ham hock crust which was to die for.

Very pleasant souroudings, outside seating area secluded and ideal if the weather is warm to eat al fresco. Indoor was welcoming, staff very friendly, no pressure to order which we like because we like to chat, catch up with family who we haven't seen in a while. Overall a very pleasant dining experience which we would highly recommend.

A lovely country pub and restaurant. Have visited previously and always enjoyed it. However on this occasion we were very disappointed as we felt it was very poor value for money.
