A nice experience, Well meaning staff. We had the roast and it was nice apart from the potatoes were a bit hard and dry. We ordered the mini desert with a drink, the drink came about 10 mins before the dessert so not ideal as we would have liked to enjoy together.

Great roasts and generous portions, and there was a good range of options on the menu which covered the varying dietary requirements of our group. Good helpful service and pleasant surroundings too. I also liked the option of a reasonably priced mini dessert rather than a full sized one. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we would definitely come back when we're nd meeting up.

We were a table of four on a busy Friday evening. We ordered two sharing platters and all chose steak for the main course. Unfortunately the waiter forgot to process the sharing platter orders so we only had the mains. The steaks were delicious - perfectly cooked and the sides were the right size portion wise. The head waitress gave us the bottle of wine on the house as an apology for the starters which was a very nice gesture.

Pleasant environment. Staff were attentive, but not intrusive, Food was good for everyone in the group. I had advocado and chicken salad -chicken a little dry and very little advocado but generally it tasted good.

Really enjoyed the meal. My grandson said his pizza was better than either Dominos or Pizza Express.

Nice decor , welcoming. Usually excellent food but on this visit a lack of choice as three of our chosen main course not available and one of our party opted instead for a starter.. The quality of two main courses was poor, the spit roast chicken was not as succulent as would have expected and I checked what the jus was supposed to be as it had no taste and not up to expectation . One of the party had roast chicken which came with a Yorkshire pud that was so dry it turned to powder when bit. . We did not return the food as we did not want to spoil a family birthday celebration but have fed back on restaurant survey Have eaten here on many occasions and the food has always been fab.
