What better way to enjoy a Sunday than in a cosy country pub with a great selection of British roasts starting from £12.50 – served all day and evening on Sundays using the freshest seasonal ingredients.
Offering al fresco dining and rustic interiors, The Oat Sheaf is a cosy country pub in the upscale town of Fleet, serving modern British dishes with a hint of Mediterranean influence. With fur-lined chairs, cowhide-covered barstools and large bay windows, the pub is a cosy retreat.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Oat Sheaf menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include pan-fried sea bass fillets, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Oat Sheaf bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.
The Oat Sheaf in Hampshire is a 4-minute walk from Fleet Station.

Great steak and camembert. Nice atmosphere

Good selection of food but although booked a table for 2 in the restaurant we ended up near the bar which was extremely noisy. No heating in that area as radiator cold. Uninsulated doors behind us which opened to outside. We ended up putting our coats back on! Food pretty but small portions and expensive - example of the scallop starter for £10.50 - 3 small scallops on a smear of puréed asparagus and a few salad leaves!
