With stunning views over Weymouth's harbour from the terrace, The Nothe Tavern serves up a great selection of local fish and other gourmet British treats. The interior feels like a cosy, quaint rural cottage, and the terrace is perfect for al fresco dining in the sunshine.
The Nothe Tavern menu champions traditional British flavours with inventive tweaks. Signature specials include the Nothe Tavern artisan pie with root vegetables, as well as guinea fowl with asparagus spears, herb crushed potatoes and a creamy Tuscan red wine sauce. Fresh Portland crab is served with avocado mousse and sweet orange purée, and there are dedicated vegan and children's menus too.
A sweet end to the menu at The Nothe Tavern in Weymouth includes treats like double chocolate and salted caramel tarts with berry compote, while from the bar there are international beers on tap, bottles of bubbles, and a selection of fine wines.
The terrace at The Nothe Tavern is a hugely popular summer hangout, and there is always a warm, welcoming ambience to be found all throughout the day. Weymouth Rail Station is just a 10-minute drive away.

Beer coffee service great food was disgusting we will never be eating there again people smoking on the balcony which was blowing back in the dinning room so all in all a bad experience we were refunded for the main courses but that's not the point

From the view, the excellent food and the outstanding service we absolutely Iove it here. We haven't had liver since we were kids but the dish is beautifully presented with a gorgeous jus, the flavour takes us right back, but definitely nicer than the version we had when we were kids :-) Wish you had a better choice of red wines..maybe a few Italians by the glass as one of us is always driving so can't really manage a bottle but really nothing worth moaning about. It's our favourite pub and a pub that can actually cook for a change. Thank you.

Overall, the food in our opinion was poor quality. The quiche was minuscule, the vegan lasagne was overcooked and burnt. However, the steak and ale pie which two of our party had was very good, but the accompanying vegetables and potato portions were small.

Uncooked vegetables, spoiled it for me. Shame, nice place but not a meal I would want again.

Both my companion and I enjoyed the food and the waiter was helpful and willing. However, I was appalled to discover there were no toilet facilities for the disabled, despite there being baby changing facilities. Furthermore, the young lady who showed me to the toilet left no-one came to my aid, which meant I had the frightening experience of being unable to get up. I managed it in the end by using the radiator which gave a horrid creek! The restaurant was being considered for a group lunch but as it contains several people who are elderly and frail and therefor need at least grab rails in the loo, I shall have to report in the negative. My answer to the next question should therefore contain the proviso that they are relatively fit.

Food was marvellous, service was very good. One tiny grumble... the weather was not hot enough to have the huge folding patio doors open, We were moved from right in front of the doors when we asked but it was still a little cold and draughty further away from the doors despite the sunshine outside on the patio where it was probably warm,
