We had a lovely lunch of Fish and Chips to celebrate my dads birthday. The waitress was very good, the food arrived promptly, the location was perfect. The fish and chips were delicious, it was good to see local suppliers used. Definitely the best pub/restaurant in Abingdon.

Food was very good. It’s frustrating that you can only book a table for 2 hours. We had a family reunion for 8 people who had travelled from all over the country and were conscious we were only allowed 2 hours. As it happened they didn’t need the table back, but it is cause undue worry.

We had an enjoyable dinner on my husband's birthday. The food was well prepared and well presented. I would say that the quality of the food was good but not exceptional. My husband is a fan of real beer so he enjoyed his pint and I had a perfectly acceptable glass of chilled white wine. The service was prompt and friendly so overall the evening was a positive experience.

We ate here for my birthday celebrations and had a main meal, drinks one dessert and one port. The food was lovely and the service was good too. We sat next to the river which was a really gorgeous spot. I've eaten here before and I've not yet had a bad meal.

Pleasant clean dining room. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful, quite delightful. The meal was outstanding. Sunday roast with the most comprehensive selection of roasted and fresh vegebables I've ever had. Desert was, sadly, not an option, we were just too full, but coffee was welcome and very good.

Service was very good. Waitrose very attentive.
Had a good choice on the menu. We both had the lamb and mint chipolatas with champ and was very nice.

Wonderful food served by excellent staff, who were extremely busy as it was a bank holiday.

Service was friendly, but a bit slow, as we had to start our meal at 2.30pm on a Sunday afternoon, due to booking restrictions. The roast beef was excellent, but ran out for customers later in the afternoon, something I would have found most irritating if I had arrived later.
