Boasting 2 AA Rosettes and a Visit England Breakfast Award, The Mill House Restaurant at the 4-star Quy Mill Hotel offers creative European dishes. Log fires and views of the garden can be cosily enjoyed indoors, while the outside terrace overlooks Mill Race River, offering an al fresco experience in the Cambridgeshire countryside.

Designed by award-winning chef Gavin Murphy, The Mill House menu ranges from traditional steaks from a trusted nearby farm, to dishes inspired by exciting world flavours. Menus change to reflect the seasons, and can be enjoyed in the intimate candle-lit dining room, or in the more casual lounge bar.

Firm believers in sourcing local produce whenever possible, the kitchen sources a premium stock, while the bar serves over 50 specialist malt whiskies, as well as wines and Cask Marque real ales.

Afternoon tea is popular at The Mill House in Cambridge, with a traditional, elegant menu available daily. The Mill House Restaurant in Cambridgeshire is a 6-minute drive from Cambridge Airport.

Lovely experience...attentive but discreet waiter... nice food

Pretentious! It pretends to be something it isn’t... glad I didn’t pay for the Gala New Years dinner

it was all too heavy for a special afternoon tea. .The Mulled wine far too big and not really a 'tea' thing, scones were too large. Cakes uninspiring and a mess. We waited a long time for a pot of tea and have had much better in other places. The best bit was the little pot of ????? Don't know what it was but nice, and small. Crackers unnecessary too. Small is beautiful for afternoon tea and cakes should be patisserie standard...

Nice quiet restaurant with an interesting and innovative menu such as pigeon as a starter. Cod and risotto for main course was an interesting combination that worked well. 2 extra "free" courses was a nice touch. Pretty good value for money too.

Every course was beautiful. The little extras on the plate were amazing. I took 3 girls 20 and under and they were amazed at the food.
I have recommended them to all my clients.

£13 for four coffees after lunch seems disproportionate to overall bill ( which was fine.)

Obtaining bill and paying for lunch was a problem -- sent from table to reception to bar and then stood in line for a bill? Why not bring bill to table even though it has to be paid elsewhere?

The Quy has a unique ambience, my wife have used the hotel for 10 years. In all of our visits, for tea and coffee, for lunch, and dinner your hostelry has been 'a home from home'. Our visit on the recent Bank Holiday saw us to have a lunch with a daughter and a son-in-law. Your hotel will be a meeting place for my wife and I my relatives when we be visit Cambridge and its environs.
