Sea bass was excellent, all ok apart from one small thing. In my opinion, tonic should not be served to the customer already in the gin. Customers choice.

I thought the staff were extremely lovely and welcoming! I also thought the starters were delicious! Though I think it was abundantly clear we were sadly forgotten about as our starters took approximately 45 minutes to arrive and our mains another 40 minutes after that. Why I think it was clear that we were forgotten about is that people who arrived a lot later than us were getting their food a lot quicker. I also thought the mains were barely hot and not to the standard of the price tag. The reason I would recommend this to a friend is because of the setting, an evening summer drink would be lovely.

I have been here before, since the new owners took over in spring 2019. They are very friendly, and the waitresses are efficient. They gave us a table in a quiet area next to a warm radiator as requested. The food was good, and presented well.

The pub itself is beautiful and it’s surroundings are beautiful, unfortunately that is where it ends. It was a disorganized mess. It seemed to be fun by a husband and wife who clearly didn’t have a clue. The food was not as described on the menu and was under cooked. We tried to order drinks but they kept forgetting our order. When trying to complain the waitress vanished as quick as possible. When trying to complain when paying the girl at bar fell apart. The final straw was when the land lord decided to show a customer how to eat the cray fish by picking up god food from his plate and shelling it with his fingers. There is so much more. It was like faulty towers. Shame as it has potential to be lovely

Not as good this time round. Slow service leaving bar unattended by anyone from security point of view not good ,could of walked out without paying.. Think service has dropped since last time and this may be due to staff released.
