Fantastic food, great modern presentation and plenty of it. Very attentive staff, lovely cosy 17c pub mixture of nautical and old. Good wine choice.
Chateaubriand just melted in the mouth enhanced with the deli gras and truffle oil.
Definitely returning

Our 2nd visit after about a year. Unfortunately had to wait 30 minutes to sit at our table due (so we were told ) other guests at the table. Service was good, one barman/ waiter was very apologetic which was nice to see and seemed he could not do enough. All staff were very nice and friendly. Food was good (3 out 5), limited meat option on menus (if you didn't like fish) personally I would like better taste combination and less theatre but overall dishes looked good. At paying the bill we were told drinks were free which was a very nice gesture and appreciated. Overall an anticipated lovely nights with friends was a bit of a let down.

    Excellent food well presented

The service was excellent, a nice table had been reserved for us. The menu seemed limited in choice and although presented in a different and vintage form, the cooking fell short of what we had expected and did not match our previous visit.

Food was delicious, of a very high quality, and beautifully presented.
The staff were friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgable about the menu.
There was a gluten free menu, which barely varied from the regular one, due I would assume to the standard of the chef and the quality of the ingredients.
The Tuesday night sirloin special was very good value, and the Malbec a delight.

Excellent experience overall. Staff were friendly and attentive. Our children enjoyed calamari and Sunday roast beef. My partner and I both had the ox cheek appetizer and the chateaubriand and both were perfectly cooked and delicious. The small details were also well thought out from the plating to the choice of cutlery. We are excited to have found this gem!
