The casual bistro options offer sandwiches, baguettes and lighter lunches, while the indulgent afternoon tea menu includes finger sandwiches, mini cakes and pastries.
The Lytton Restaurant’s charming interiors with a pastel colour palette, elegant paintings and soft textures make for a refined decor. Sweeping views of the large green garden provide a peaceful setting.
The Lytton at Chalfont is located in south Buckinghamshire, a 7-minute walk from Chesham Lane bus stop or a 2-minute drive from the A413 at Chalfont St. Peter.

We were a multi generation family group celebrating a 92nd birthday. All the staff were excellent, attentive but not intrusive, coping very well with the elderly family members. The menu though not huge covered a good range with something for everyone. The food was well cooked and beautifully presented.

Had heard good things about this new restaurant so we decided to try the Sunday lunchtime carvery. Whilst not a cheap meal, the location and decor are great. The food was what one would expect from a carvery lunch. Staff were attentive, pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is situated within a retirement village which has recently opened so many of the diners were probably local residents. The restaurant was pretty well full by about 1.30pm so I would recommend advance booking to secure a table.

The restaurant was not easy to find, but well worth the effort to locate. Excellent food and the decoration and decor was first class. The chairs were very comfortable and dining here was a real pleasure. The service was great and the staff very friendly. It felt like eating in a 5* restaurant but only paying 3* prices. If we are ever in that area again we will be certain to book there again.
