Had the market menu and the food was delicious and good value for money. Limited reasonably priced wine options, but to be expected in such a swanky environment.

Good food but two of our diners received the wrong main and had to wait for their actual choice to be cooked which meant they didn’t receive for 25 minutes and the rest of us had finished which wasn’t v good

I had been looking to this meal as the restaurant was recommended . We arrived ( a party of three), in good time for our booking at 8.30 and ordered drinks and a main course each . The drinks duly arrived but then we were told that the main course which 2 of the party had ordered wasnt available so they chose something else. At 10pm I asked if we could just cancel our order as it hadnt arrived. The meals arrived within minutes and were very tasty . The chef then appeared and was extremely apologetic about the delay to us and a few other tables .We appreciated the fact he came to talk to us. We wern't charged for our meal . However I am not sure we would go back as one of our party was very ill all night . Perhaps the food was prepared in too much haste ?

I found Game Bird at the Stafford very noisy (it has public access). Food average and service fast but not refined. But, again, I am comparing everything with Le Gavroche.

Very Comfortable Restaurant Service - perfunctory Food - adequate - but in relation to the prices charged - poor value/ overpriced
