Beautiful interior, friendly staff, delicious tea selection and afternoon tea! We were a bit chilly by the window but it didn’t taint our experience.

Beautiful interior, friendly staff, delicious tea selection and afternoon tea! We were a bit chilly by the window but it didn’t taint our experience.

Beautiful surroundings, cute little Café, very nice staff. Food was delicious although we thought it was quite little for what you pay - compared with others where you need to take leftovers home. Gluten-free option was nice to have, although skewers with tomatoe&gherkin is a bit unexciting...

Fantastic service at the living room we were made to feel genuinely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Although busy we were still able to relax and enjoy the vintage atmosphere and decor and reminisce over the various items from the past. The selection of teas were superb , probably the best selection we've come across and the freshly made scones and homemade jam were absolutely delicious we thoroughly enjoyed our cream teas and doubt many other establishments could come close to the value and quality. We found the living room by passing by so weren't sure what to expect but you bettered every expectation -we will certainly be returning. Well done
On a side note we were a little confused by parking -my sister has a disability so we parked in guest parking but didn't know if we were supposed to park on the road as when we left a sign had been left in front of the car saying that it was for B and B guests only yet the wall sign merely said guests , other than that it was excellent.

It was a lovely place, had a great selection of teas and just the right amount of nibbles. Would recommend.

I booked afternoon tea for some friends and I to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We had the best time, loved selecting our individual unusual teas, and trying the many different sandwiches and cakes and scones (and hot chocolate and prosecco!) - we enjoyed every one and couldn't agree which was the best! The Living Room was a delight, and the staff/owner were very accommodating, as I added an extra person at the last minute, and we lingered for quite a while over our tea. I hope to find an excuse to go back again!

Booked for my mum's birthday, as something completely different to experience instead of the normal going out for a meal. Read some good reviews about Living Room vintage tea Room and glad I made the right choice. The staff so friendly and welcoming we settled at our table with a choice of teas included to sample and a good selection of finger sandwiches, cream scones and petit cakes for all to enjoy.

The staff welcomed feedback of some of the cakes which were meet with lots of thumbs up. The whole experience which was a first for us was thoroughly enjoyable and a definate repeated visit again soon.

    Thank you Living Room.

We loved the quirky, relaxed atmosphere of the Living Room. The staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. The scones, jam and cream were particularly delicious!

The staff were friendly and the restaurant was nicely decorated. We had made a reservation but were told that the restaurant hadn't received our booking and therefore had not prepared for our afternoon tea order. We were made to wait a little while, as the chefs prepared the afternoon tea. Sandwiches and scones were delicious but the cakes were not that great.
