Restaurant description
Fashioned in the style of a charming farmhouse, The Little Owl is a rustic haven near Solihull and Birmingham, serving well-loved British meals. The classic brick hearth, oak beams and traditional trinkets ensure it is a cosy pub, with appealing modern touches, such as the colourful arm chairs and the art. You can also enjoy the food outside in the al fresco garden for summer.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Little Owl menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Little Owl ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
The Little Owl is just a 15-minute walk from Birmingham International Train Station, or 14 minutes in the car from Solihull.

Food was ok. Steak and ale pie had a lot of gristle in it. Lasagne was good and the chips were divine.

food quality very poor ,we both had sirloin steaks, which were full of fat and gristle, they were returned and replaced with rump steaks which were edible but not good quality. It was the first pub restaurant i have ever been in that did not have brown sauce. the table staff were brilliant ,i really felt sorry for them having to appease customers through no fault of their own overall i would not recommend this establishment to anyone
