We were all really looking forward to visiting the Landsdowne as it used to be great, but unfortunately it is not as good as it used to be.
- I had upped our booking from 8 people to 10 directly with the venue (twice), but on arriving we still had only a table for 8
- Service was very intermittent - it took ages for someone to come up and give us menus and then take our order.
- most of the food choices had run out - so much so we had to abandon the idea of having starters.
The girls serving us tried their best but it appeared they were run off their feet and it wasn't their fault no food was left.

Really nice Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. The Lansdowne is always reliable for food, drinks or both. My go-to in the Primrose Hill area.

Full of young families, seemed short staffed and those there were bickering amongst themselves. One of our four courses arrived well after the others - and halloumi had been over cooked.
I've eaten here before and it has been OK - today was not their finest hour.

Slightly chaotic on arrival, as the pub was so busy, but we found ourselves a nice table upstairs and the food was really good. The waitress that looked after us also provided really good service once we were seated.
