Great food. Food is ordered at the bar. Service was ok.

Sorry to say that overall it was very poor. My friend's caesar salad was swamped in dressing as was her main of salmon, and the veg tempura batter was stodgy. The rib-eye steak was poor quality with lots of gristle. My cod was fine and the lamb was good. The bar and waiting team were ok, but not confident. The restaurant did credit the cost of my friend's salmon dish but overall the experience was of mixed quality food with an amateur team trying to cover a slow night. At this price, we were expecting a higher standard of food and service. Hope we hear that they get it together and we might return in future as it's a lovely spot.

Good food at a reasonable gastro pub price. Very rapidly served which got us to the Roundhouse on time!

Lovely relaxed pub, great food and wine options. Very close to the Roundhouse (6minute walk) so massively convenient for a pre-event dinner

Terrible. The restaurant had already ran out of three main dishes on the menu at 3.30pm on a Sunday, including roast potatoes. So we had to eat our roast with over salted chips. Having booked our table in advance we were hugely disappointed - the restaurant knew we were coming. The decor is bland, cold and bare. There was only one waitress serving the whole room - we had to ask for menus, water & bread for the table.
