This is my favourite pub. No particular bells or whistles, but it has a wonderfully relaxed, calm and warm atmosphere. I always order the chorizo pizza when I come, as it's perfect. Not to mention it's set in the movie-set like location of Primrose Hill which is ideal.

Didn’t have our booking. We sorted our own table out by moving things around. Limited menu and not exactly as on website. But food good. Nice pizza.

    The food quality was poor.
The acoustics were dreadful- could hardly hear my friends

Lovely atmosphere but was disappointed there was no dough for any of the pizzas, which I found out upon arrival after having made the reservation because of the pizza menu!

The manager was very helpful and accommodating, he saved the day! But it took ages (over 1.5 hours) to receive the food, some of which was not what we ordered. The pizza before the refurb was far superior. It used to be one of the best pizzas in London, and now it is like any other from the world of casual dinning.

The pub was busy on a Sunday lunchtime and had a good atmosphere. However, after ordering we waited 40 minutes and still no food. When we asked a waitress where our food was, she apologised and brought out our Sunday roasts but the potatoes were missing from the plates. The staff were very busy and there were a few strained conversations going on between the waiting/bar staff. We were then told that we couldn’t order dessert as they had closed the kitchen for half an hour as they had a huge backlog of orders.

The food was nice but the service was very slow and we were disappointed not to be able to finish our meal with dessert.

Sadly the pub’s pipes were broken so there were no ales available, just bottled lagers and a “chocolate” ale.

Really nice food, really nice venue. Staff seemed to annoyed by the fact they had to take a large order

Sorry to say that overall it was very poor. My friend's caesar salad was swamped in dressing as was her main of salmon, and the veg tempura batter was stodgy. The rib-eye steak was poor quality with lots of gristle. My cod was fine and the lamb was good. The bar and waiting team were ok, but not confident. The restaurant did credit the cost of my friend's salmon dish but overall the experience was of mixed quality food with an amateur team trying to cover a slow night. At this price, we were expecting a higher standard of food and service. Hope we hear that they get it together and we might return in future as it's a lovely spot.
