Very good food but very slow service even when wishing to pay. Busy time for them but when we were eating most of the busyness was over. However they were very flexible about changing time of booking.

A lovely welcoming pub with warm log fire. Good atmosphere and service and the food was delicious. I can recommend the lamb. Homemade rhubarb pudding and ice cream was lovely and the coffees authentic. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we shall definitely visit again.

One of the best restaurants we have visited for a very long time. Excellent service and excellent food. The landlord was one of the friendliest and most professional people I have ever dealt with.

Excellent Sunday lunch, served with interesting vegetables under the meat. All 4 of us very happy with dessert choices.

This is a very pleasant pub/restaurant in a lovely village. The food was excellent and the service attentive. It was part of a birthday treat for my wife, for whom a lighted candle was provided with her pudding. If we are passing we would certainly visit again.
