Lovely food, wonderful staff and lovely ambiance

This was our 3rd /4th visit and as always very friendly and helpful staff, food was nice, Some portion sizes were odd, my Crab Taco starters was very nice and a good sized portion, but my wife had the spring rolls and they seemed very small in comparison even though they were nice. The liver and Bacon was very good. Our only moan was that we had a rude loud table next to us so we could hardly hear ourselves talk, so we left as soon as we finished our meal.

Decor and furnishings very good. Service was too. Food OK. I had the fish and chips plus glass of wine special. The chips more resembled roast potatoes cooked again than chips, 'ordinary' chips were served to others but not, it appeared, if one was having the special.

Very friendly staff

Went there Sat.evening 7th March, after reading good reviews. Waiting staff welcoming greeting us when we arrived, drinks arrived quickly. Enough time was left before taking our order for us to decide what we wanted. Food was lovely everyone had something different and everyone liked their choices. There was quite a wait for our waitress to take our dessert order, but she had been on a break she said and expected the other waitress to take it. Dessert was lovely. We then had terrible trouble getting any coffee, I suspect that our waitress had prob. gone home and the one waitress left was intent on ignoring our waves for quite a while. She was very friendly when she did finally come over. However as we were with friends and talking wasn't a problem however we would have done without coffee if we had been on our own. Never the less we would go back because the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Prices are good as well.

The restaurant it's self has been beautifully refurbished and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food was a little salty for my taste and maybe a few daily specials would boost the menu

Quick and friendly service. Great food at a reasonable price. We had Sunday dinners (3 beef, 1 pork) - all very good. Location is lovely too, with views over the sea.

We had a family meal where everyone enjoyed all courses of the meal. The service was very good, apart from clearing the table of glasses, although to be fair the restaurant was full and very busy.
