The venue is pleasant, the service adequate. The food was however very disappointing. I ordered Lamb, it cam with a little mashed potato and an even smaller token portion of crochets. The lamb was over cooked and had a texture more like pork, it was also fairly tasteless. It though it might have been leftover from the day before.
For the considerable price of £25 I found it very unsatisfactory. -

Had a really lovely meal. Started with oysters which were really fresh. Gin cured sea trout was excellent but sashimi was room temperature and tuna could have been fresher. Sea bass and sea bream cooked on the bone was excellent. Summer fruit parfait was nice but very icy rather than smooth and creamt and merengues we hard. Wine was reasonably priced.
Lovey environment and friendly service. Waiter disappeared half way through leaving us waiting for a while to order dessert but another waitress took over quickly when we draw her attention. Would definitely eat here again. -
