Food was not good,my steak meal went back as the meat was so tough it was inedible, the replacement wad better but still not good enough. The scampi meal was only warm and a burger was of poor quality.
All in all as a celebration meal it was so disappointing and cost quite a lot

Our food was awful. Three of us ordered roast dinners, we received them but then we had to ask for the parsnips and the cauliflower cheese as they were missing, the cauliflower was brought out but then had to ask again for the parsnips! These finally came out but were hard and it was a good 5 mins after the cauliflower so at least 10 mins after receiving our meals. Also asked for extra gravy twice. Then ordered an extra coke which took over 10 mins to come! Ordered four deserts, 2 of our party had brownies with custard, both came out with barely luke warm custard!
It wasn't particularly busy so I don't think there was any need for such bad service.
We wouldn't go back to the Jack Rabbit again.

Food was excellent, we all had a main course, two had starters and one a pudding. Unfortunately the car park was absolutely full we literally had the last space but strangely the restaurant was only half full. Obviously there is a problem with people parking here that are not using the restaurant could a voucher system be put in place or at some stage have the car parking monitored it would be a shame if the lack of parking became a problem.

Poor experience, slow service (40 minutes to get cold starters), uncooked pastry on top of a pie (which was rectified by burning), and chips served in a pot coated in dried peas from a previous customer (clearly unwashed). True, we were given desserts free of charge - unsurprising after this treatment. My ratings are for this visit alone (there have been some reasonable visits).

We dined in this restaurant many times. On this occasion we arrived at 6 o'clock Saturday evening. It was very busy but we were shown immediately turntable. The service was very good, food was excellent and the atmosphere very good indeed with a nice log fire and a cosy feeling. We had a lovely three course meal for under £100 for four people including drinks which, in my opinion, is very good value. Highly recommended
