A spin-off of the world-famous London restaurant, The Ivy Market Grill offers refined all-day dining and luxurious afternoon teas in a plush but relaxed setting. The fine food is served against a backdrop of mosaic tiling, brass fittings and green leather furnishings.

Afternoon tea at The Ivy Market Grill offers sweet and savoury treats, with champagne on hand for added indulgence. In true Ivy style, the fresh sandwiches and savoury options are extra special, and include smoked salmon blini with cream cheese and chive, and marinated cucumber and dill sandwich. The sweet delicacies include warm fruit scones with clotted cream, fruit cake with Cheddar, and lavender and almond macarons.

Drinks at The Ivy Grill in Covent Garden are an equally tempting proposition. From the ornately decorated bar, sample an enticing array of classic cocktails, craft beers and international wines.

Echoing the timeless sophistication of its parent restaurant, The Ivy Market Grill in London has a classically British charm. Covent Garden Tube Station is just a 4-minute walk away.

All 5 of us were very disappointed, we had to ask for more savouries, cold water, hot water, more tea-when we asked if we would like an extra bag, instead of just bringing a fresh pot. The scones were dry and stale and the first cup of coffee was stewed. Our requests were dealt with professionally but we really felt the staff werent interested or attentive and we had to keep attracting a member of staff's attention instead of them checking that everything was fine.

I went with my daughter and sons girlfriend we had cocktails and afternoon tea with champagne. Seating really nice excellent value for money we had booked it on an offer. We couldn't finish the scones. We had an enjoyable afternoon I would recommend it to my friends and family

My wife and I had afternoon tea on 17 July - the restaurant has a gold atmosphere but the service was not very good - we had a glass of wine before at our table and the sandwiches and cakes were brought to the table - it was OK nothing to shout about - we were asked about an hour later if we wanted another wine - there was champagne included in the deal but this was not brought out so I had to ask for that - we waited and waited and still had no offer of tea or coffee which I brought to the attention of the waitress - she then said what tea do you want? There was no menu with teas or coffees listed and when My wife complained the Manageress came over and said the list was at bottom of the menu which was taken from us as soon as we sat down - she apologised and my wife told her we are complaining so as to avoid this for any other future customers - I know the afternoon tea is relatively new there but they need to get things right - they did deduct the price of our early drinks but this is not reason for our complaint they have to sort out the staff to ensure customers are looked after properly
