This has been my favourite Indian restaurant for some years. I was with children and grandchildren to celebrate my birthday. We chose the Ivory Tusk because everyone really enjoys the food here. Some of us had long standing favourite dishes, but two tried the new Pondicherry specialities and were impressed with the subtle flavours. Excellent food and friendly service.

The food was good but unfortunately we were waiting for an hour for our mains & we didn't have starters, only a few poppadoms. Seeing as it was quite quiet, it was a Monday evening, there were only 4 other tables dining, it wasn't great service, we wasn't apologised to for the wait either. Also I asked for a glass of sparkling water & was given a £4 litre bottle!! Which I did actually manage to drink after waiting an hour for food!
We were very disappointed as we'd heard lots of good things about this restaurant, so sadly won't be going back.
