The variety is quite good with many options for all meat, fish or vegetarian preferences. The food arrived faster than I would have expected which is positive. The presentation was very nice and the taste equally good. The waiters were friendly and accommodating and offered advise where we needed it.

No one from our group of 4 had been to The India before, despite all working locally. We went on a Friday after work (in late November) and had a thoroughly nice evening! We were politely greeted at the door, and taken down to the charming restaurant nestled in lovely underground arches. The staff were extremely pleasant and professional and we enjoyed a joke with one of the waiters regarding 'free Indian champagne' (I won't spoil the punchline in case he uses that one regularly) :p We booked online through Bookatable and were informed by the waiter that this meant we would receive a 25% discount that evening on any starters or mains that we selected from the main menu. The food was delicious (particularly enjoyed my very coconutty peshwari naan!) and the waiters all knew exactly what we'd ordered without having to ask who was having what upon bringing out the food. All in all, great staff, lovely surroundings, delicious food and excellent value for money. 100% we will all be back again. Well done to 'The India' :)
