This was a wonderful mid week dining experience. Great food and service. I had the fillet steak and saled, my husband had the fish and chips, and our dining companions took advantage of the £10 burger and pud deal. We all enjoyed every mouthful. Greatvatmosphere, suited to all age groups. Would definitely recommend booking due to it being such a popular evening venue.

Awful dining experience. On arrival the host asked for our name in a very abrupt rude tone. Had requested a window table when booking in advance due to health issues. We were seated at a table on the other side of the restaurant, physically couldn’t be any further away. Explained to staff that we had requested a different table and this was shrugged off and the response was, “well you can see we’re busy!” We decided to leave as the menu was not the full menu as the usual chef wasn’t in. When passing the host on the way out I said, “I’ll not need the table now, thank you.” - with a smile. To which the host replied, “Ok fine!” This service was absolutely disgusting, especially considering how many hundreds - if not over £1000 I’ve spent at this establishment with my family over the last few years. I’m appalled!

The restaurant and staff were warm and inviting, we all had the "burger & dessert" which was very tasty, my only disappointment was that the cheesecake despite being nice was advertised as "cherry Bakewell cheesecake" which was why I picked it, but tasted like plain! ??
