Clad in classic Victorian red bricks, but with rustic, cobbled stone features, The Harrow Farleigh is the quintessential British country pub, boasting an accomplished menu of pub favourites. Furnished with a crackling log fire, dainty candles and squashy leather sofas, there is also a large al fresco garden for outdoor dining, and from which the eye-catching Littlepark Wood can be seen.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Harrow menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Harrow ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
Surrounded by countryside, The Harrow is just 5 minutes’ drive from Warlingham Train Station, in Surrey.

Customer reviews for The Harrow

I come here a lot & quite obviously enjoy coming here. But even though I had a table booked, it was dirty on arrival & every single staff member ignored us for the first 5 mins. No one even said "be right with you" - just a blatant ignore which surprised me. It wasn't busy. When we did get served, waitress was lovely & tried her best to make sure we were happy. Provided good service.

What has happened to The Harrow? We have always said this was one of our favourite Vintage Inns , but everything seems to be going wrong with it lately, this is the second Sunday that has not been good. We had a drink in the garden yesterday before going to our table for our meal. The solitary barman was rushed off his feet, then the lemonade started to come out of the pump brown , so they had to use 7up for my shandy which tasted like lager with water ! We had to wait over an hour for our meal, the Sunday roast. The roast beef had been taken off the menu, so we just had turkey and pork. The turkey was fine , but the pork was overcooked and dry. The roast potatoes were not good, several were black when we cut into them. The rest of the veg was ok although the whole meal wasn't very hot. The choc. brownie was dry and not good, and my pot of tea was only warm ! The waiting staff seemed in chaos and several people as well as us were not happy. The ladies toilets were not very clean and smelt. During the week, it's always been very good but we won't be going there again on a Sunday. The staff were serving and clearing tables inside and outside, probably too much for them to deal with on a busy Sunday. Such a pity.

If you are prepared to wait for incorrect orders and hour long waits between courses then this is the place for you. You may also like to taste the cold coffee, when taken back was shown a candle and was slightly colder than when I took it back. This was not just us many people were having similar problems. On the plus the food was very tasty (lamb shank) but for me not enough for me due to the wait time for it to arrive. I can't recommed it at the moment the 'service' needs to change.

Not a great visit.
Roast beef gravy and roast potatoes cold - the gravy was almost 'set'. Veg warm.
No yorkshire pudding and no apologies.
As for the dessert ( I didn't mention it - -couldn't be bothered at this point) deff no baileys liqueur in the ice cream.
My main was deducted but as we took friends there ( their meal was !ok') it wasn't the night out we expected.
