It was OK, but only OK. A visit to the Harrods Tea Room when it was the Georgian Restaurant at Christmas used to be very special but now it has become very run-of-the-mill. Being told repeatedly that we only had 1 hour 30 mins to eat the three course lunch offered is unacceptable. As it was, it took us 2 hours to eat lunch the speed of which was governed by the speed of the service and not our slow eating rate. Besides, having lunch at Harrods should not be timed by a stopwatch. I'm not sure why we were under such time restrictions as when we were finishing up there were 6 or 7 tables nearby that were empty. Also, why are tables set up where non-diners are able to walk through the whole of the restaurant from one end to the other? The food was not as good as in the past.

Harrods is always a glamours and good experience however i was annoyed that it was 129 pounds you got very little for what you paid i've been to other establishments for same price but got more sandwiches and more tea and coffee in my experience it was too expensive for what you received .The Dorchester hotel is far better to be honest having said this the shopping at Harrods is the best in london.
