Following a grand re-opening, The Grill at The Dorchester offers grill classics in Mayfair, against the backdrop of this iconic hotel’s timeless interiors. Established in 1931, and now led by head chef Guillaume Katola, The Grill at The Dorchester has a long-held reputation for serving London’s finest grill food.
The Grill at The Dorchester’s seasonal menus place grill favourites alongside their signature lobster chowder. An open rotisserie is also on offer, adding to the relaxed ambience of the setting. For dessert, an extensive soufflé menu is the highlight, the first of its kind in London.
Counter top-style seating, and the contemporary details added by interior architect Bruno Moinard, merge with the iconic elegance of The Dorchester to create a vibrant, welcoming environment. With a hand-blown glass chandelier hanging above oak parquet flooring, and surfaces resplendent in marble and zinc, The Grill at The Dorchester is a striking venue. Pivoting wall panels help to create an inviting atmosphere that evolves throughout the day.
Overlooking Hyde Park, The Grill at The Dorchester is a 7-minute walk from Hyde Park Corner Tube Station.

It was my first time at the Dorchester Grill and it was a wonderful experience. We ate from the set menu and the food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. The service was unrivalled and the ambience created by the live singer was beautiful and touching and really made the evening for us. I can't wait to return.

Lunch at the Dorchester did not begin very well. We chose a bottle of wine, from their quite extensive wine list, only to be told that they did not have it. We, therefore, chose another one and, after waiting half an hour, our wine still had not arrived. We also sent back our first courses and explained that we wanted our wine before we started to eat. They apologised and gave us a complimentary glass of champagne for the inconvenience. The wine eventually arrived and, after that, everything went well. The meal was excellent and beautifully presented and the Star Deal was very good value. It was just a shame that the the wine problem, which should not have happened in an establishment like The Dorchester, rather spoilt things slightly.

The Grill is an inner room, but the rich décor of blacks, golds and mirrors makes that an irrelevance. A large Murano chandelier hangs in the centre, its glass mimicking the flame effects of a grill. The staff were relaxed and friendly and the food beautifully presented. My favourite was the Eton mess, with a meringue ball 'broken open' to allow a cascade of hand made custard and strawberry quarters onto the plate. A flicker of gold leaf completed the fantasy.

I booked dinner for my husband’s 50th birthday treat with friends. The service was impeccable from start to end. George our table host was so professional, polite and most of all knew what he was serving us. He made our evening very special. The food was better than I expected and exceptional quality. The champagne was good quality despite us ordering Dom Perrignon champagne to mark this milestone. Served with care and love by George so enjoyed every last sip.
Finished off with after dinner drinks in the Bar, drinks pricey but to be expected. The ambience and service throughout was worth spending a little extra as this was a birthday treat. Lovely birthday cake for husband was a nice touch. Would recommend for a special occasion and use the meal offers when they have them. Worth it.
