Following a grand re-opening, The Grill at The Dorchester offers grill classics in Mayfair, against the backdrop of this iconic hotel’s timeless interiors. Established in 1931, and now led by head chef Guillaume Katola, The Grill at The Dorchester has a long-held reputation for serving London’s finest grill food.
The Grill at The Dorchester’s seasonal menus place grill favourites alongside their signature lobster chowder. An open rotisserie is also on offer, adding to the relaxed ambience of the setting. For dessert, an extensive soufflé menu is the highlight, the first of its kind in London.
Counter top-style seating, and the contemporary details added by interior architect Bruno Moinard, merge with the iconic elegance of The Dorchester to create a vibrant, welcoming environment. With a hand-blown glass chandelier hanging above oak parquet flooring, and surfaces resplendent in marble and zinc, The Grill at The Dorchester is a striking venue. Pivoting wall panels help to create an inviting atmosphere that evolves throughout the day.
Overlooking Hyde Park, The Grill at The Dorchester is a 7-minute walk from Hyde Park Corner Tube Station.

Friendly & helpful staff. Ready prepared for us except no special bread for me as I don't eat yeast. You can get sourdough bread which contains no artificial yeast.

The Grill at the Dorchester was delightfully spacious and warmly lit, the staff were attentive and warm an friendly, very welcoming. Our area in the restaurant was spacious, we were welcomed with a glass of Champagne which was lovely , we had to have more, the meal of it self was delicious we had three courses, first course of Salmon followed by the Chicken and finished with more Champagne and summer fruit tart with ice cream, what's not to love

Very nicely presented food with lovely combinations of flavours. Lunch was 3 courses and the food was not too heavy a whole roast chicken is presented and carved at the table it was moist and delicious as was the meringue style lemon tart.
Service was excellent very attentive friendly and helpful

Everything was brilliant - the whole place sparkles and the staff couldn't be more attentive, though not overbearing at all. A great flourish when our delicious beef was revealed. The chocolate "crumble" dessert was to die for. Cheapest wine was £40 but you'd expect that - and it was delicious.

The main course (confit of veal belly with vegetables) was excellent but the entree (smoked salmon with quinoa) was dull and the pudding (chocolate crumble with cherries) also average.

We went to The Grill at The Dorchester for my birthday. We received a friendly welcome and were taken to the restaurant by a member of staff who approached us at the door. The restaurant staff were all as nice and very professional in their service although most seemed to be interns from other countries. The complimentary tidbit was good and the salmon starter was lovely and by far my favourite dish. Both my husband and I had the fish but I think mine was not very fresh as it was a grey colour and had a different texture from his which was soft and white and delicious. We did not have the heart to complain about this. The dessert was fair. I ordered the chocolate crumble thinking it would be much like apple or rhubarb crumble but I was wrong. The sorbet was quite nice. The tea was luke warm and there was only enough in the pot for 2 very small cups. Unfortunately, it was an extremely hot day and there was no air conditioning so with the room being so small and closed it was a bit sticky. However, having put in all these negatives the dining experience was very good overall and I would certainly go again though maybe not in the summer.
